A rapper from St. Louis is facing allegations of killing his grandparents, as he reportedly walked into a psychiatric ward covered in blood

According to reports from TMZ, Davionne McRoberts, a rapper from St. Louis who performs under the name “Woozy the Goat,” has been accused of murdering his grandparents.

On Tuesday night, McRoberts turned himself in at a local psychiatric ward, reportedly covered in blood. Earlier that same day, his grandparents, Donald and Kathy McRoberts, were discovered dead in their home with gunshot wounds, as per Lincoln Co. Prosecuting Attorney Mike Wood.

Prior to McRoberts’ surrender, law enforcement officials had been searching for him, but a worker at the psychiatric ward contacted the authorities to report that McRoberts had arrived there.

According to Lincoln Co. Prosecuting Attorney Mike Wood, the investigation is ongoing to determine the motive behind the murder, but it seems that McRoberts may have suffered a mental breakdown of some kind.

McRoberts is currently in police custody at the psychiatric hospital. Prior to the killing, McRoberts had posted a series of disturbing messages on his Facebook page during the week leading up to the incident.

“WHO WANNA DIE TODAY? Y’all don’t believe me? Come show me I’m not god,” read one post.

“Hey I really am god truly everyone I’m trying to help you all but I came to terms y’all got too comfy in hell I’m not trying to take peoples money when I say donate to $WoozyTheGoat I’m trying to show y’all new life …” McRoberts wrote in another post a day later.

His rap persona, “Woozy the Goat,” appears to have published several songs to Spotify, with top songs garnering around 8,000 listens on the app.
