On Friday, police found three women and two men dead in a South Florida home after responding to a call from a relative of one of the victims.

The connection between the victims is unclear. All five individuals appeared to have been shot, and it is believed that one of the dead men shot himself.

Authorities first searched the perimeter of the home before finding an unlocked window and discovering the victims inside.

“You can only imagine, for the family members that were here, that this is extremely tragic to be able to find five individuals that are in there lifeless,” said Miami-Dade Police Public Information Officer Alvaro Zabaleta.
