Lauren Boebert, the 36-year-old Colorado Representative, is on the verge of becoming a grandmother

During a Moms for America event earlier this week, Republican Representative Lauren Boebert revealed that she will be a grandmother in the coming month.

Video footage of her announcement began circulating on Thursday.

“Not only am I mom of four boys, but come April, I will be a GG to a brand new grandson,” she beamed.

Newsweek reports that the child’s father is Boebert’s 17-year-old son, Tyler.

As reported by Raw Story, Boebert’s disclosure coincides with her recent demand for the removal of “comprehensive sex ed” from public schools.

This far-right legislator had previously revealed to the Durango Herald in 2020 that she had abandoned high school to care for her son, Tyler.

“I was a brand-new mom, and I had to make hard decisions on successfully raising my child, or getting to high school biology class,” she said. “And I chose to take care of my child.”

After obtaining her GED, Boebert was elected to Congress in 2020. She is a strong opponent of abortion rights and has pledged to always support pro-life and pro-family legislation.

In a heavily Republican district, Boebert narrowly secured a second term in Congress in 2022 by defeating Democratic challenger Adam Frisch.

Boebert and her husband Jayson Boebert, who is about to become a 42-year-old grandfather, got married in 2005. They founded Shooters Grill in 2013, where staff openly carried firearms. However, the restaurant reportedly closed in July 2022 and was replaced by a Mexican eatery.
