Lewis Hamilton equaled Michael Schumacher’s F1 record of 91 wins with a victory in the Eifel Grand Prix

35-year-old British racing driver Lewis Hamilton made history at the Nürburgring on Sunday as he equaled Michael Schumacher’s F1 record of 91 victories with a powerful win in the Eifel Grand Prix.

Hamilton took the lead from his Mercedes teammate & polesitter Valtteri Bottas early in the 60-lap race at the famous German circuit & dominated proceedings without any real challenge from 2nd-placed Max Verstappen in the Red Bull.

The 7th win of a truncated season for Hamilton has taken him 69 points clear of Bottas in the championship race & well on course to win his 7th world title to bring him level with another of Schumacher’s all-time records.
