A guy was lethally shot on Saturday in downtown Denver when left-wing & right-wing rallies clashed.

Officials said the shooter was a private security guard & not affiliated with either rally. Local NBC affiliate KUSA said that it had hired the security guard to accompany its reporters at the events.

A right-wing “Patriot Rally” was held at an amphitheater near Denver’s art museum.

Cops put up barricades surrounding the amphitheater, & an apparently facetiously titled left-wing “BLM-Antifa Soup Drive” drew hundreds of individual to counterprotest the right-wingers.

The incident happened as both rallies were leaving after peaceful protests.
