All the Berlin pubs, eateries, shops & other businesses will have to close at 11 p.m starting Friday until Oct. 31, German officials said.

The strengthened restrictions, which were declared on Wednesday, will also apply to social gatherings.

Private gatherings in Berlin will now be limited to 5 for individuals living in separate households. Private gatherings of up to ten individuals will be permitted indoors only if they don’t happen during curfew hours.
