Twitter now allowing it’s users to follow stock tickers in the same way they can follow other news

American microblogging and social networking service Twitter is now allowing it’s users to follow stock tickers in the same way they can follow other accounts.

Twitter has included stocks like Apple, Amazon, Alibaba, Disney, Google, JPMorgan, Tesla and Zoom. It, of course, included its own stock ticker. Twitter will be adding more stocks in coming weeks.

Ryan Sellers pointed out that the Twitter still needs to clean up its bot issue.
“Search any ticker and 90% is just bots,” Sellers tweeted.

The new feature comes over 8 years after Twitter first released a feature that lets you click on stock tickers.
