Officials said 21-year-old man wanted for lethally wounding an ex-college basketball player in Manhattan gave up to police. Accompanied by his legal advisor Tammuz Darbasie appeared at the Midtown North Precinct on Thursday and was charged with homicide and weapons ownership in the demise of 24-year-old Terrell Wigfall.
Wigfall was stabbed in the upper body during an Aug. 22 street fight near the presume’s building on eleventh Ave. First responders took him to Mount Sinai West Hospital, where he passed away on Sept. 16. He lived half a mile away from where he was knifed. Darbasie’s arraignment was forthcoming Friday in Manhattan Criminal Court.
