Authorities said a Brooklyn man was shot dead by two men wearing black clothes. Roderick Smith, 36, was shot in the head and left shoulder outside Highland Park on Highland Blvd. in Cypress Hills about 10 p.m. on Tuesday during an encounter with the shooters.

At the point when police showed up, they discovered Smith face down on the ground outside his Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van he used to move DJ and entertainment gear.
