A 20-year-old Mississippi man was arrested on a felony charge on Tuesday after cops said he tossed a dog from a bridge and onto a bustling road. Different observers revealed seeing the suspect, Merterrious Johnson, holding the animal before tossing it on Interstate 55 in Southaven around 11 a.m.
The dog endured the fall without significant wounds and was taken toward the Southaven Animal Shelter. Officials found Johnson minutes after the incident and charged him with one check of animal pitilessness. He was all the while being held Wednesday on $1,000 bond.
