Feds’ evasion of examining the full story of Trump’s connections to Russia was a purposeful move. Previous Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein obstructed any examination of the president’s private and business associations with Russia in 2017 subsequent to concluding there wasn’t sufficient explanation behind doing as such.
Rosenstein purportedly thought examiners were acting too hurriedly following Trump’s May 2017 termination of previous FBI Director James Comey. He taught Special Counsel Robert Mueller to restrict his examination to potential election-related inappropriateness by the Trump campaign. The test prompted the president’s arraignment a year ago, however the Justice Department chose not to seek after charges against him.
