43-year-old “Black Panther” actor Chadwick Boseman passed away on Friday following a four-year fight with colon cancer. Boseman’s significant other and family were next to him when he expired, said an announcement distributed to his social media accounts.

“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman. A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much,” said the statement.
