Two assailants pursued down a man before he was shot dead at a Brooklyn housing development on Thursday night. The shooters sought after 33-year-old Jamel Edmons through the Marcy Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant at around 6:05 p.m.
As they arrived at the structure’s parking space on Park and Marcy avenues, one of the men started shooting, hitting Edmons in the head and chest. Edmons was taken to Woodhull Hospital, yet he was unable to be spared.
Witnesses told police two men pursued him through the development before he was murdered. Police were all the while searching for the shooter on Thursday night.
