A vacant building collapsed in Brooklyn causing damage from falling detritus

A structure crumbled Tuesday in a bustling Brooklyn shopping passage as work groups were managing brought down trees and power lines. No wounds were accounted for after the best two stories of a structure along Bedford Ave. in Williamsburg fallen in a matter of seconds before 1 p.m.

The structure had all the earmarks of being empty when it disintegrated. Region occupants were cleared. A vehicle, a Dodge Charger, was vigorously harmed by the falling garbage.

Firemen reacted to a call to the scene along Bedford Ave. between North Fifth and North Sixth Sts. Crisis groups went through a significant part of the day managing harm from Isaias. Authorities said the breakdown probably won’t have been storm-related.
